Wes Hranchak, the organization's Commando in Chief, has seen marketing communications action on just about every industry front imaginable. Whether the assignment is a broadcast campaign for Warner Cable, training videos for Taco Bell, a sales meeting for Harley-Davidson or recruitment banner ads for Thoughtworks Technologies, his overriding mission is to communicate with maximum creative impact.

Prior to his founding Commando Communications, Hranchak worked for Cramer-Krasselt/Chicago. During his 10 years there, he created advertising campaigns for a diverse group of clients including Southwest Airlines, Super 8 Motels, Skil and Bosch Power Tools, Rust-Oleum Paint, Toblerone Chocolates, LaSalle Banks and NOVUS Credit Cards. Before that, Hranchak spent a year at Frankenberry Laughlin and Constable, Milwaukee, where his client list included Marine Bank, Rocky Rococo Pizza, Amity Leather Products and Regal Appliances. His Milwaukee experience also includes two years at Hoffman York & Compton where Oster, Fiskers Scissors, Compcare HMO and Summerfest were among his clients.

Mr. Hranchak has been honored for his creative accomplishments with a gold Clio, Cannes Lion, Mobius statues, NY Ad Festival golds, Addys, Tellys and recognition in major advertising annuals such as Communications Arts and Art Directors Club. A marketing communications scholar as well as practitioner, he has an extensive library on the subject as well as a collection of over 25,000 commercials. In keeping with his belief in a converged approach to creativity, Mr. Hranchak is skilled in a wide range of graphic, audio and digital video software.
